I have worked with Linda in a charity organization and watched her work tirelessly helping others.  She doanted her time, even during the busy tax season, to attend the different events for veterans and work late into the evening helping them with income tax questions and budgeting matters.  We shared some exhausting moments during our work!  I cherished her endless energy and made a great friend out of it in the process.

She also gave me an income tax reduction idea that my current CPA said was a genius move! 

This person who posted a Ripoff Report is clearly unhinged.  It is super easy to confirm if a person is a licensed CPA.  A simple check at the California State Board of Accountancy website is free and fast.  We always check out the professionals that we hire and perform extensive background checks, etc.  Mrs. Catalina's investigation was completely clean.  A check on her license has found no complaints in her 20+ year career.

Since it appears this person is not even a client of Mrs. Catalina's, we believe it to be a personal attack and a misrepresentation of the person attempting to smear her stellar reputation.  It's too bad some people need to hide behind a fake name when they are clearly conducting libel.  If it were the truth, I am sure they would have used their real identification.

We have checked and double-checked, but we have no record of anyone by your name ever being a client of our firm.  If you have legitimate concerns about our services, I encourage you to contact us directly to discuss them. If you’d like to check my active license, I suggest you contact the California Board of Accountancy. In all the years I have been a licensed CPA, there have been no violations or complaints filed with the Board.

 Linda Catalina, CPA is not a "fake". This is obviously a personal attack for some reason. There are two offices with professionals staff, as I have visited both during very busy tax seasons. They are absolutely not just "mailboxes". I have met her staff at each location, who are very helpful. This Consumer Comment is not paid for.
