Linda Susan Goldman & John Newsome ,accomplice, Attorney Linda Susan Goldman Shoplifts $4k of Christmas Ornaments in New Orleans, LA Los Angeles California

Linda Goldman is an attorney based in Los Angeles, CA who was arrested for shoplifting $4k worth of Christmas ornaments in an antique shop on December 7, 2017.  The DA's office in New Orleans dropped the case due to not having a clear shot of her stealing even though the owner witnessed her stealing and no one else had access to the private stash of merchandise all day.  The ornaments were in a bag (not on display for sale) and she is seen on camera pulling them out of the bag and looking carefully at each one of them, rummaging through ziplock bags as well as holding up empty ziplock bags, looking around for cameras and displaying suspicious dishonest behavior that the detective believed was enough to submit her case to the DA's office to charge her. 

I am extremely disappointed that this case didn't go to trial and that a thief like Linda Goldman is allowed to practice law in Los Angeles (we have reported her to the board) and literally get away with stealing just because she is experienced at hiding it and believes she can get out of it because of her title as an attorney.  She has obviously done this before and the same is said for John Newsome who was her accomplice that day and kept one of the owners occupied so she could steal their merchandise.  They are both graduates of Stanford who are riding on their reputation of being "educated" and perhaps that will allow them to continue to hurt small businesses all over America because lawyers are rarely accountable for their own actions since they are in the business of saving other people from being accountable for their illegal actions.
