I called Lindstrom for maintenance in my AC unit; that was done 6/29/2015; after the tech checked the air handler, he told me that my thermostat needs to be replaced; then we went outside; Immediately the tech said that I have a bad capacitor which cost $7.99 in Amazon; but he Changed the capacitor and charge me $208.00 dollars.; later on he said that my unit is running low in freon that it needs 5 lbs.  at $68 each pound, but he will charge me only one pound; he also said that I need a Lindstrom drain cleaner that cost $67.00 with a total of $324.00 dollars but he forgot to add the maintenance that next day they called me and they said it cost $189.00 dollars; I told them that I see the advertisement for $89.00 dollars; after I said that, she said to pay only $89.00; now the total is $413.00 dollars. I called because they warned me that if I do not do a regular maintenance, they can honor the warranty.   When I bought the AC Unit, they did not tell me that it is mandatory to do a regular maintenance or I could lose the warranty.

But the worse happened yesterday August 17, 2015 that means one month and 19 days my AC unit stop working, and when I called them, it was only for maintenance; now one of my air compressor is not working.

I was told by another AC tech that if a unit needs 5 LBS of freon that unit will never runs; my unit was running without any problem; now when I call for the air compressor, probably they will charge something like $1,500 to $2,000 with the warranty.
