Linebarger Goggan Blair & Samspon, LLP Toll Road Rip off Pasadena Internet

I received a collection letter that states i used the express lane and the fee is $4.83, sound familiar, but they add a $80 service fee.  I contacted Toll roads in my area and found out that they didn't have me on record going through the check point so I called in and explained this to the VERY RUDE lady that answered.  She basically told me that the Toll Road don't always capture all of the vehicles that go through the checkpoint and it was their job to review and go after those it doesn't capture (TOTAL BS).  Our express Toll way has 2 sherriffs sitting outside the checkpoint almost at all times, 8 flash cameras and you know you went through cuz it's like the paprazzi are waiting around to capture J-Lo or something.  So to say the the toll road checkpoints are working, the cops or the cameras is a total scam.

The bad part is even after explaining this I faxed over a statement from the Toll Road customer email address and they still told me I was responsible for the payment.  Now they are threating my Drivers License and holding my registration hostage.  

There has to be a way to stop these people from just going after people like you and me and hiding behind a collections company that has the ability to harrass, threaten and steal your money.

If anyone knows a way around this please let me know!
