Linx is by far one of the most devious firms on Long Island. They promise that they can deliver exactly what you are looking for, but you quickly find out that all they are good at is making excuses and over billing you for it.

Our project was originally quoted for $20k for a standard website with some basic functionality. What we received was 6 months late, and $30k OVER budget. They threaten to sue us if we did not settle! What we ended up with was a WordPress site with a template that bought. It was probably put together in India for $500!

Michael Smith seems to be in business for one thing - your money.

I asked a few references about Linx and heard 2 other similar customer stories. As I understand, they have even suckered a large company like Canon into maintenance of a website for 10k/month when they outsource it to an Indian firm for peanuts!

Open your eyes. They are a dumpster diving company that will take every penny from you, not deliver a product and then settle in court!

This report was filed by a disgruntled former employee who admitted to a coworker that he posted this.  I have absolutely no comment on any allegations made here, only to say that this family business has been in existance in one way or another since 1964, with the current iteration of Linx in business for 20 years.  During that time we have delivered results for literally thousands of clients.  So if we actually had a client who was so unsatisfied that he or she took to the internet to post a negative review, we would have already attempted to rectify the situation many times over.  We are a company that offers an option for compensation based on performance in many instances.  I think that speaks volumes about the value we deliver.
