Do not train at Lion MMA Krav Maga or Savage Krav Maga in Grapevine TX , Arlington TX , and Burleson TX martial arts. They sell fake black belts. I recently was a student up until they just promoted a girl named Martha Westbrook to Black Belt. The problem with this is that the owner (Tony Molina) is only a probational black belt and only certified to be able to promote you to green belt as he is only a phase B level certified instructor (as far as ive been able to find). When asked about this, I've heard them say they acted based on what Christian Garippa and Jordan Kokel of Savage Krav Maga in Arlington and Burleson TX do. Christian Garippa is also only a probational black belt who never find wished his requirements and Jordan Kokel never even tested for BROWN BELT. I knew them both from a facility they trained at in Keller TX. They haven't even gone through an instructor certification of any sort! I contacted the guy who taught them all and he states that he doesn't recognize anything that any of these guys do, because they refused guidance and help of any sort. He let me know they are not full black belts and that they are not certified. I was led to believe he would approve the black belt and test and would maybe even be there, but he told me he had no idea anyone was even being tested. I gave the benefit of the doubt hoping the person would have some type of legitamcy behind her test, or at least would not pass as it was a horribly weak exam but no such luck. Apparently if you've got enough money you can be whatever belt you want to be at Lion MMA Krav Maga and Savage Krav Maga in Burleson and Arlington. In done with them and will not be training anymore. I wish I could have the $2400+ dollars vie spent here off and on over the past MANY years.
