I bid and won 5 lots on sale 2616 lots#0521 #0522 #0523 #0524 #0525 and sale 2624 lot#1009
for a total of $1579.60
The items were listed as a f7 code. (economically repairable)
I paid and found out from the distributor that the items that
I purchased were scrapped out from the navy. He himself was
the one who scrapped them. and that the condition code should have read (s) for scrap. He also said that the items could not be identified by a lay person as scrap unless torn apart.
This was put into a signed statement and forwarded with my claim to Govermentliquidation for a full refund. The company turned down my request on all 6 lots. Costing me $1579.60. The value of these 6 items was 5 cents a pound. or 100.00 total.

Dear Mr. Larke,
Thank you for your patience while this claim was being assessed. Government Liquidation management has reviewed your request and based upon all related research in this matter, your claim has been denied.

We do not always receive complete or accurate information from the government on our products. It shall be the Buyer's responsibility to verify information and item's description, including but not limited product condition.
The item manifest is not always accurate and bid should not be placed based on the manifest. Above the item manifest it specifically states this:
1 Information contained in the Item Manifest is third-party information that has been provided by an additional source. This information is deemed reliable but is not guaranteed by Government Liquidation. It is not intended to be used as the sole basis for bidding, and should not be taken in lieu of buyer's own due diligence.

3 The Acquisition value shown represents the original price paid by the government for the item(s) listed. This data is provided by the government and should be considered only as reference of the original purchase price for this item(s).
Additionally, the buyers purchase of or placement of a bid on the property constitutes acceptance of the property as is and in a used condition. "Acceptance" as used here also means that, by the purchase of the property, you will be deemed to have examined the property in person. All bids placed in the absence of a physical examination are done so at the buyers own risk.
Thank you,
Dave Jackson

I think you are hosed on this one

I belong to this particular site and look at their offerings once or twice a week, I have to admit there are warnings all over that tell you "as is", etc. You have to understand that they get tons and tons of DRMO Defense Reutilization Material Organization, this stuff has been used in the government, military, state federal, and that stuff although made to stand up to abuse, takes a beating. some of it is stuff that has been on some units property book forever and finally someone like myself catalogues, puts the NSN or government Nonenclature on tag and turns it in to property management. property management makes an assesment of the code condition.
My suggestion is to complain to senator or congress person. maybe someone coding these items is coding the to re-coup high returns for government? It used to be better when they had open auctions at military bases or open sales, prices and selections were better. but then idiots complained because a $100 desk chair was sold at auction for $10.00 and the jet engines and whatever it might be. so government decided to stay out of the heat and closed DRMO sites and hired liquidators to auctions stuff.
They warn you enough about condition and as is, You bid you own it sorry!
