LiteCoin Miner Scam London, England

Litecoin is a cryptocurrency, similar to Bitcoin. These currencies work because people use their computer power to contribute to the processing. They are rewarded with amounts of that currency. This is called "mining." LiteCoinMiner is a site that claims to participate in this mining. I was intrigued, so I started out being a Free Member of LiteCoinMiner. I was curious to try out the paid option. So, I paid 1 Litecoin, which is equivalent to about 70 United States Dollars. This was supposed to greatly increase the amount of processing, and thus, the amount of Litecoin I would receive. The site makes it look like you are getting that much larger increase.

And, at first, you are allowed to withdraw small amounts of your Litecoin balance. Then, it stops. All you can do at that point is "request" a withdrawl that will take "10+ days." But, any withdrawl you attempt at that point will never be processed. So, out of my 1 Litecoin, I received 0.2 Litecoin total. So, I lost 0.8 Litecoin. The "Contacts" page makes you believe that you can submit a message to them for help. But, you will never receive a reply. That same contact page lists a physical street address in London. This is an actual address. It is part of a "Virtual Office" called London Presence: https://www.londonpresence.com/. They provide virtual office space for companies like LiteCoinMiner.

I do not know if London Presence knows or cares that they virutally house a company that scams people. LiteCoinMiner has a British "Company Number": 09951039. LiteCoin Miner is, in fact, registered with the government. I do not know if the British Government knows that this number belongs to a company that scams people. But, I am going to inform both the Virtual Office company and the British Government of whom they are housing and certifying, respectively. The bottom line: Avoid this company. Absolutely! They are taking your Litecoin, which is taking your money. Know that. Do not give them a cent. You will, at best, only receive a small fraction of it back, at the most.
