Litton Loan Servicing Litton Loan is a SHADY company! Houston Texas

My loan from Ameriquest was sold to Litton Loan. I have no idea why. I have never missed a payment and had a good relationship with the lender's representative here locally.

I noticed that my loan amount increased due to fees and the like. I could not get a straight answer out of Litton. I was still in an ARM and my rate was 4%. The next year the rate went up as I had expected...only not so much! My mortgage payment went from $900 to $1,100. I can swing that...no problems...yet.

I made my mortgage payments for another two years...same payment. I broke my leg and was off work w/o pay for 3 months. I can miss a week or two, but not 10 to 12! I notified Litton and they allowed me to skip a month. Great, right? Not really.

I had missed 3 payments and fas fighting like mad to get caught up. I asked for help and was unable to find it at Litton. What did Litton do? Litton raised my rate to 14% and my payment was now $1,500!

I come to find out that I am in foreclosure for arrears on my loan from two years ago for failure to make the correct payments! I was behind over $12K because the rate had increased w/o my knowledge as well as me being behind 2 payments for reasons that I had no control over...and Litton knew it.

Suddenly, I was in foreclosure and NO ONE at Litton would speak to me and that I had to contact their collections dept. I left message after message to try and get this cleared up. Not a single call back. I wrote two letters that went un-answered.

I was foreclosed on and I am now renting a duplex for my family of four. Litton loan is not a good business and should be ashamed of themselves!
