live Tchnologies hacked into my computer and "fixed" problem and sold me tech support for $408.00 cdn funds. They send to my e-mail a very loud advert for used cards plus other ads popped up. The comes a phone number to call to remove the offending advertising. I GOT TAKEN !! Panama City, Panama Nationwide

Last August my e-mail was interupted suddenly by a very loud ad for used cars, for one, then while trying to get rid of that one (which I did not) another poppd up.
Then, up pops a message saying to get rid of unwanted ads call this number (1-866-454-2919) which I did.
A technicial took about 2 and a half hours going over my computer, telling me it had been hacked and was on the verge of crashing (who knows).
I am told they could fix it for $299.99 us which turns out to be $408.33 cd funds. Like a confused fool I said yes.
I tracked them to be Live Technologies Inc, in Panama City, Panama
Unfortunately I gave them my credit card number, which Iam about to change.
