I met Stephanie in the park near where I live. I was looking for a pet sitting service since my dog ha abandonment stress and anxiety if left alone. 

She seemed nice and gave me her number and email. I emailed her and received her price sheet. Her price sheet had the break down of what she charged but it didnt make sense.

I needed 7 hours of pet sitting one day and 12 hours of pet sitting the next. I emailed and texted her trying to understand what she would charge. She said it was $90 for 24 hours and $60 for 3-5 hours with each additional hour at $20. 

I asked her to tell me the total for the two days. She kept saying her price sheet states prices and I can have a discount if I buy a package of 20 sessions. I explained more than once I do not want a package I just want the total for two days of pet sitting. Would it be 90 each or was the 90 for the total hours combined?

She said she books up quickly and that I have to pay for a session so she can lock me in and then tell me the total price. I did not feel comfortable paying for a service I did not understand. I tried calling her and again asked what would the total be for two days. The first day of 7 hours and the second day of 12 hours. Please tell me the total amount and I would be happy to book. Again, she told me her prices were listed and to buy a package to lock in the days and discuss price after.

She is vague, not helpful, and evasive. From trying to book with here I do not feel comfortable. If she cant be honest and up front when trying to book her pet care services, I don't know how I would feel if she asctually watched my dog. 

This post is jsut about her. She is listed as a dog walker, groomer, sitter under the website dogvacay.com. I would recommend you truly screen your sitter through this service.
