Living Well Today Magazine and Larry Selditch Magazine never went in store, Not returning my calls, Larry Selditch lied and misrepresented, Company a rip-off Chatsworth, California

I met with the "Regional Sales Director", Larry Seldtich in mid-November and was excited to get this "great offer" of having my 1/2 page ad (upgraded from a 1/4) to appear in a magazine in not only one, but 2 stores! I paid $199.00 via a check on the spot for "ad preparation", even though I submitted my own ad from our graphics department. That should've been a red flag right away!

I received a bill a few weeks later (in January) for my first of three payments. I sent it and they claimed to have "lost my check". After waiting another two weeks to see if the check showed up, they still claimed it never did. At that time I made a credit card payment over the phone, even though my ad should've been in a magazine in my local Albertson's at the beginning of January, according to Larry Selditch. I was informed that it would be February and that I had two Ralph's stores - neither of which in the cities I had contracted for.

I informed them I would not pay the second bill, which arrived in early February until I saw my ad! I left ten messages over the course of four days with Larry Selditch, "Trish" or "Tricia" in the billing department, their "legal team" aka "Customer Service". I have received NO phone calls back. I left seven voice mails for Larry Selditch on his cell phone voicemail and never heard back. I had to cancel my credit card and dispute the first charge from January. 

I am taking Living Well Today Magazine to small claims court to get my $199.00 check refunded to me. This magazine is a total scam. They are liars. I have NEVER seen a magazine to date with my ad in it, nor have they made any attempts to answer my questions about how they claim to have sent my ad out in a magazine to two of  the wrong stores. I have my contract that states where my ad is supposed to be and they're not upholding their end of the bargain.

On an interesting note, they have an "Addendum to Contract" that they required me to sign that states that I will NOT discuss anything regarding my ad or the magazine with the stores. Now I know why...the two stores I was promised have never even heard of this magazine. LWT Mag of course, doesn't want their unsuspecting customers to figure this out, so of course they have us sign this preposterous agreement.

I cannot WAIT to have my day in court with these jerks!
