Okay... So the 2 man crew hired for 3 hours showed up on time, in fact, a little early. They were ok. One guy was great at the whole loading and stacking process. The other guy was slow to say the least. The job took a total of 10 hours.... (insert cricket chirp here) While my husband assisted the guys with our own dollie, they took a very long time to load our things. It was very disconcerting seeing as we had to get on the road to our destination and couldn't leave (obviously) until the job was done. We were hoping to be out of there by noon or 1pm and didn't end up getting on the road until7:30pm on the nose. Alice at the office was gracious enough to take off a couple of hours of the over charge for us. That made me feel a little better.... UNTIL.... We get the truck at our destination and low and behold, not one piece of our furniture was left undamaged! And as a topper, we really didn't have that much furniture to take with us... 3 beds, 5 dressers, 2 recliners a love seat and about 4 end tables. A rip in our recliner, huge chunks of wood taken off the corner of not only our family room light stand table but, my daughter's antique vanity, both of my dressers are scratched as well as gouges and scratched on our DVD rack and the legs to my Queen size adjustable bed (which I told them needed to travel flat (as recommended by the manufacturer) and stuff could be stacked on top was instead put up on it's side and we have no idea if it works now because....) the legs have yet to be located.... Kind of figured they would keep those with the bed in question but, I guess that would make just a little too much sense. We provided moving blankets and other blankets and they also used the saran wrap on the furniture... but, everything that the blankets should have been wrapped in were not and were damaged. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Scared to death to open the boxes with our 3 TV's. All three boxes show signs of being smashed or crumpled. We will see how those are in a couple of days. That is reserved for Direct TV day on Tuesday... So, that remains to be seen as well. We appreciate that the majority of our move was boxes and plenty of them. However, it shouldn't have taken them 10 hours to do this job. Especially when everything but a few items were already staged and ready to go straight from the garage straight onto the truck via a ramp and the Dollie that WE provided. These were two young dudes that should have been able to bust it out no problem... instead, my husband had to lend a hand to help get it done... Unacceptable in my opinion. We are trying not to be hostile with this company. I've made my attempts at calling the office but, haven't made contact yet as it is of course, the weekend. Will revise review possibly based on response from front office staff. I am sure they will give us the "you should have bought more blankets to keep the damage down or ABF trucks are a notouriously rough ride" schpeel....Hey man, we did our part.... we packed it well with all uhaul boxes, bubble wrap, foam... you name it... Have yet to see how my mothers china and bell collection have fared but, have yet to get to those items as I am buried in boxes trying to locate the legs to my bed so I can actually sleep in my own bed at some point this week.... Very Disappointed. The 3 man crew here at our destination broke their necks to get our job done in the time allotted and helped to organize our boxes in the garage on top of it. EZ Mover I would highly recommend and use again on this end. I cannot, however say the same for Loading and Unloading Company of Colorado.
