These people never answer the phone, I am on hold once again waiting for a supervisor after a 22 min. wait to talk with the first person. My second call this week, the earlier one was very similar experience. This is the 5th or 6th call I have made and it is always the same. I only have to call because I received no response to my email correspondence not anything in the US mail.

Earlier this week the person I spoke with told me that there was a "case" opened in November but her records indicated that they called me (lie, I use a cell phone exclusively and it has VM) but the outcome was listed on her database as "no answer" so they closed the "case" and I had to begin a new one. I was promised a call back in 48 hours 3 days ago so now I am on hold again. (Total time now 35 min) waiting to resolve my issue. I have made it perfectly clear that I will not accept an escrow account on this mortgage and will see them in my local court of jurisdiction to settle the matter and I am 100% serious.

Now they want to more than double my payments, even though I have never been late since we re-financed (to get rid of the escrow) about 2 years ago and got saddled with Cenlar by The Loan Depot. How can a company that so abuses their customers continue to exist? The people I got my loan through The Loan Depot sold the admin to Cenlar. DO NOT use Loan Depot or any other mortgage broker without making certain they will not sell your admin to Cenlar because they are complete crooks and will not even respond to their customer 42 min hold now and they dropped the supervisor. Now I am talking with Paul 1 hour and 12 min in.

One hour and 25 min later I finally have this resolved, I made it clear that I would drag them into court in Florida if I could not get satisfaction. The need for an escrow account will be re-examined and presumably dropped after I make a written request and fax it to them. Can you imagine having to work for a company like that? It is not the people who answer the phones fault that they are understaffed and their corporate office makes it a policy to fleece people as much as possible. I am sure some bean counter figures out that they can make an extra $? By holding escrow on every mortgage and if they can buffalo 10,000 customers then they can pocket a nice piece of change.
