I was told my new loan payment would be about 270.00 less than my current home loan payment with taxes and insurance included. I made the rate lock deposit of 495.00 and was told that the deposit was merely a guarantee to do business with them and would be refunded if "anything didn't work out. After I made the deposit, they told me the payment amount was not including taxes and insurance. I went ahead with the loan process, knowing that any loan would have to include taxes and insurance. My home was appraised for less than the loan value and the loan fell through. Company will not refund my deposit. I feel that they took the deposit knowing their numbers were low and understood the hassle involved in getting the deposit back. This is the way this fraud of a company does business. Beware of them and stay away from them if at all possible. They do this knowingly!

If you had any case whatsoever regarding ethical behavior or misrepresentation you would have filed a small claim and or a dispute with the consumer lending agency against their license.

As you probably know, you did not read ANY of your paperwork that you signed, nor did you accurately estimate the value of your home which is why all you have left is to publish your debacle on this website. You have wasted LoanDepots money, marketing, as well as labor time because of your negligence and have nobody to hold accountable other than yourself.
