Loan Modifaction Team A Total Rip-Off!!!! To the tune of $900. Glen Allen , Virginia

My wife and I had gotten behind in our mortgage payment to National City Mortgage Co. and due to the the payment going up $300.00 we couldn't make a full payment and they wouldn't accept partial payments so we got further behind. My wife was contacted by the Loan Modification Team out of Glen Allen, Va and they told both of us that they had worked with National City Mortgage before and they would get us a fixed interest rate and our payments back down where we could make the payments, so we sent them $450.00 to get the process started and then we received the necessary paperwork which we filled out and faxed it back to the Loan Modification Team. The process was supposedly started then they said they couldn't proceed until they received the remaining $450.00, so we had a direct withdrawal come out. They also told us not to pay anything or talk to our mortgage company, so we waited and waited and the whole time getting further and further behind. Then we couldn't wait any longer so we made numerous calls to both our mortgage company and the Loan Modification Team with no definitive answers, then we received a notice of foreclosure from the sheriff's office, so we called the Loan Modification Team and they said not to worry until there was a sheriff's sale with a date of sale. We were becoming more and more frustrated, about a month later we received a notice of sheriff's sale and now we knew we were close to losing our house that we have been in for over 6 years. After about 6 months of waiting with no results our Mortgage company called us and said that everything was disapproved and we would have to pay $996.00 a month if we wanted to avoid foreclosure, this was $450.00 more a month then we had originally had before we started this process. We have to let our house go now and not sure how much this will cost us in the end, but the Loan Modification Team took our $900.00 and more importantly took our hopes of keeping our first home, which was the reason we even went to them in the first place. DO NOT TRUST THE LOAN MODIFACTION TEAM, the Biggest Scam I have ever seen!!!!!!!!!!
