LOCALFLAVOR.COM LOCAL FLAVOR, DOUBLE TAKE RIPOFF, SCAM, HOAX MOUNTVILLE PENNSYLVANIA

I purchased a $10 certificate for $20 worth of food at Four Seasons Kabob House in Montclair, NJ.  I went to use it a little over a week ago, one day before expiration. I ordered my food, ate (it was nothing to brag about), and handed the certificate to the waiter. He looks at it and says, 'we dont take this'.  I asked why and he said they only authorized Local Flavor to sell 20 and they sold 200.  He addded 20% gratuity to the check, so the total was $25.38 that I had to pay, when all it should have cost me was $5.38.  I called Local Flavor and got the usual canned apology. They will not refund my money, they will not pay my excess. They will only credit my account to buy another bogus certificate.  So, basically, I am out 20 bucks. If they knew the restaurant was not accepting the certificates, they should have emailed everyone that purchased one to notify them. Do not do business with this ripoff company!
