Lockhart Roofing 15000 dollar roofing/siding/soffett and chimney job.....Roof leaks badly and nothing is done to stop it or the damage it has caused Flint Michigan

In the fall of 2013  I contracted for a complete roofing job including decking on my home. The chimney was also to be repaired at the same time as well as some siding up top and soffett work. Also gutters were made and installed. The work didn't begin for well over a month after the weather had turned very cold here. Roof was stripped, decked and shingled, Soffett work was started but took most of the winter as it was sub contracted. The chimney was never started despite it falling apart. 

The roof leaked all winter long around the chimney that was never started. The soffett work was very poor quality  and continues to blow off even today despite being repaired a couple of times pieces still are missing. The chimney work was done after the threat of a lawsuit from myself and seems to be ok. The roof however has continued to leak with water pouring into the home everytime it rains to the point I now have damage all the way to the first floor and walls falling apart due to the water damage. Also their is now black mold  from the continued leaking. Lockhart Roofing was sure to send the bill however stating the work was completed.

The siding work on a gable was never started, Letters were sent to the company that were ignored. A certified letter with return reciept was then sent so it was not ignored. The siding work did get done and seems fine but to this day the roof leaks and the soffett work is still of very poor quality. At one point I finally cleaned up the mess that was left at the job site and just chalked that up to not being professonal but with the leaking I refused to pay the bill until the leaks were repaired and told them in writing this was the case. So what happened.....they filed a law suit on me to collect. I returned the paperwork to the court system and got their attention that way but had no choice but to pay the bill to avoid the suit. Now they have the money and I am left with a leaky roof and some high dollar damage.

       Do yourself a favor and please steer clear of this rip off company!!!
