Sold me a Warranty and will not Honor it, also told me to leave thier property or they would call the police to have escorted off. Harrased me and had 5-6 Sales reps surround me with thier arms cross blocking the exits and faulse imprisoning me while Terrence Garry proceeded to violate my personal space and harrase me 2 inches from my face.
Terrance Garry violated my personal space while 5-6 sales associates surrounded me with thier arms crossed and blocked of the exits. Lones Star sold me a warranty on my new vehicle and when proceeding to get it fixed Mr. Garry Got 2 inches from my face and proceed to harrase and disrespect my in front of his staff refusing to honor my warranty. All I need is my radio repaired and he told me to leave or he would call the police. So I left.

My name is Bryan Thomas I work at LoneStar Chevrolet in TEAGUE, TX. This might actually not be your fault, but when I read your report it specifally said Teague Tx and had the Jersey Village zip code on it. I was just wanting to know if Teague TX could be taken off of there, because it's mesrepresenting to our dealership to the reader that doesn't look more into it. Our dealership is not at all affiliated with that dealership.
Thanks,
Bryan D. Thomas

Also treated poorly

I recently purchased a vehicle that had 5 technical service bulletins that all required work within 3 weeks of purchase (AC, Steering column, & coolant leak into engine block - 3 different bulletins). None of these turned up in my pre-purchase inspection and appeared only after a few weeks of driving. The severity of the problems was not apparent until the repair shop started tearing the engine apart. Part of the repairs were covered by the extended warranty but not all of them.
After trying to discuss the situation with two different sales managers all they would tell me is that they could not confirm because they did not do the work. The impression given to me is that they were aware that the issues might have been present and were hoping to do the repair work to collect more money - from the warranty company and/or me. I tried discussing good faith sales and that they should have disclosed the TSB's to me and they implied I did a poor job of researching the vehicle (it was a 2003 with one owner and only 46,500 miles according to CarFax nothing to be suspicious of).
I highly recommend not visiting their lot new or used.

What year, and model is this vehicle?

Also, which stereo system is it. I'll look for anything that may help you. GM had issue with the radios in some of their lines.
Permits are required to picket/protest anywhere, even in Washington DC. It's officially called a "Picket/Demostration Permit". You get them from The Metropolitan Police. It's on "L" Street. Did I mention I spent 20 years in the DC area? I went to alot of protests too. Some for, some against. Always a bunch of fun. Most permits are applied for, and issued by City Hall, or whatever passes for the local Governing body.
Your 1st Ammendment Rights are not violated in any way by a permit requirement. ALL permits are issued. What the permit does, is pays for the extra costs normally associated with a demonstration/picket/protest. Unions get the permits too. Ever wonder why the picket lines only go so far? Because that's as far as the permit allows them. The permit to purchase a firearm is done the same way. Every permit is handled this way, and the money is used to defray Government costs.
Get your permit, and have fun. Make a day of it. But give me the year, make, model, stereo system, and I'll give you the "heads up" if it's part of GM's radio snafu.

The Media Would Be VERY Interested!

I suggest you take your story to the local media, who would be extremely interested in the cr@ppy, arrogant way in which you were treated. Who the hell do they think they are anyway? And since when can the local police keep a U.S. citizen from protesting on public property? This whole story gets better and better for you and way worse for this ripoff dealership! GO TO THE MEDIA. These crooks will wish they'd just done the right thing and fixed your radio in the first place. (When will they learn?)

First amendment rights require a Permit?

Since when do you need a permit to protest something or have a picket line at a union strike? Sounds like these idiots need the first amendment explained to them, very slowly, since they think people need permission to exercise their rights. I would have been a lot harder on any stupid cop trying to intimidate me. You might want to give the ACLU a call too just incase they wish to fire off a letter to the cops and city to bewhere if they want to impose limits on citizens rights arbitrarily.

In may I tried to get my radio repaired after it had drained my battery, I told their service rep that they sold me the car and the warranty, and thier radio drained my battery. So I felt that they should replace the battery as well. She told me to stop saying ya'll, and that was not thier radio that it was AC Delco parts, I again told her you sold me the car with the radio and she said stop saying you again.
Their service rep then opened the door and said I don't need you Bi**hing at me, and I replied I don't need you acting like one. I did appologize and they split the price of the battery with me. She also appologized to me and we shook hands and parted on what I thought were good terms.
On the way home the radio went out again and I called the service rep and politly told her that I stilled need my radio replaced which they did not do. She said come back when you have $100.00 for a deductable and we will get it taken care of. 3 months later I returned with $100.00 to get it repaired August 9, 2006 still under warranty and that is when I was approached by Terrance Garry, whom said he remembered me from May and had nothing to say to me nor would he make an appointment for me to speak whith their GM Carolyn Cross. I asked him if he would repair my car and he refused.
Today August 10, 2006 I made 2 signs in protest to Lone Star Chevrolet and them not Honoring the warranty they sold me. I was walking in the Median of N. Eldrige PKWY. Not on thier property but across the street. They within 20 min. Jersey Village Police Showed up and Told me I could not Protest in The City Of Jersey Village. They then asked for my I.D. and I cooperated. He also asked me to step have a seat in his patrol car and I complied.
Then he drove me onto Lone Star Property and I told him I would prefer him not take me on their Property. The officer then said that I was fine with him. He pulled me out of the car and searched me fully, which I understand. Then he drove me in the back seat up to the office of Lone Star Parading me infront of the office, while sales reps where laughing and blowing me kisses. He issued me a verbal citation for a tresspassing warning which I was not tresspassing on any Privat property unless Lones Star owns the Median of N. Eldridge. He also issued me a verbal citation for unlawful protest.
I was cooperative with officers and they returned me to my vehicle and released me. In the morning I will go to Jersey Village to apply for a permit to protest and display my civil rights to a peacefull assembly. I will also request a written copy of my verbal warnings.
Wish me luck.

Why did they resort to that behavior? Were you being threatening in any way (speaking loudly, getting frustrated, ANYTHING)? Did they just do that right away, or was their stuff leading up to it? Is the radio covered in the warranty? That doesn't make sense at all.
That being said, if they DID do that for no reason, make a police report. At least it'll be on record. They shouldn't get away with treating people like that.

All that over a radio?

What's it doing, or not doing?
Is this the factory radio, or an aftermarket one?
Is there an aftermarket amp, etc attached to the radio?
How did a discussion about a radio get to the point where police would be called?
