Long Island Modular Homes, LI Modular Homes, Modular Steel LI ,Modular Homes and Jonathan Davidson stole from our family Jericho New York

In Oct 2016, Jonathan convinced us that modular was the only way to build our second floor dormer. We cut him a check to start the process for drawings of our new dormer. After months of going back and forth with the architect, and Jonathan stating that the architect would be able to Stamp & Seal the drawings for our incorporated village as required, no drawings were provided. In May 2017, we sat with him and explain to him the urgency and need to get the dormer done quickly, to which he convinced us that putting 10% down would get this process expedited. Several months of back and forth and asking for stamped and sealed drawings, missing meeting after meeting with the village's Architectural Review Board, we still had no permission to build and he still did not provide the drawings. In Oct 2017, a final email was sent requesting the status of the stamped and sealed drawings, to which Jonathan replied that he sent them to New York State and was waiting on the file to return. If the architect we were working with was supposed to be able to Stamp & Seal them why did he send them to New York State? We issued an immediate cease and desist order via email and asked for him to return our funds. Jonathan's arrogant response was "that's not going to happen."

The fact of the matter was he toyed with us for over a year and did not provide that which was paid for, he did not expedite anything nor did he start any part of our build, and yet he still felt the need to keep our money. Lawyers were involved, negotiations began, Jonathan and his lawyer insultingly offered less than half of what was paid, when we tried to negotiate further, Jonathan's lawyer refused to return our calls.

My family has been financially crippled by this arrogant, selfish individual who has no morals nor ethics to speak of. Providing false statements to our lawyers that he "started work" on the project when in fact he knows he did not, and could not, due to the fact that we had never met with the Village's ARB in order to get approval to do any building. We are currently in the midst of looking for a lawyer to file a suit in Nassau County as we seem to be at a stalemate with his lawyer not returning our calls. We have a brand new baby who doesn't have a bedroom and no money to build a room for her now thanks to Jonathan Davidson and his arrogance and unethical business practices.
