I met Lonnie Radcliffe through a colleague.  We were both coming out of a bad situation and through my colleague, I was told Lonnie Radcliffe was a financial guru and could get even the most destitute person capital for their business.  I was emailed his resume and the resume listed all of the right things and was very impressive.  I specifically and repeatedly asked Lonnie Radcliffe if he had funding institutes ready to do business with our clients and he firmly  said “yes and that our clients only qualifications for funding was a spot on business plan”.   I was so happy to be working with someone like Lonnie Radcliffe.  I decided to partner with my colleague and we decided to make Lonnie Radcliffe our exclusive funding source…….big mistake!

• 2.5 months into the deal, Lonnie Radcliffe was extremely inconsistent.  Shortly thereafter, my mother suddenly passed away at the age of 65 years old.  I was devastated.  I went home to bury my mother and to grieve with my family.  I received calls daily from my partner checking on me and reassuring me that Lonnie Radcliffe was about to close and fund some of our deals and this was good news.  2^nd day after my trip home, I got a call from my partner saying that Lonnie took it upon himself and decided to partner with us and rewrote our business agreement without or asking him to do this.  I felt so sickened to my stomach and wanted to know why he would do this in light of my mother literally just passing away?  I felt deceived as if I was being taken advantage of.  Lonnie used his resume experience to foist himself as a partner into our business partnership and my partner and I both felt put upon because we both believed his resume was accurate but that was a falsehood.
• 4^th month, still no funding from Lonnie Radcliffe and he simply kept delaying our deals saying he had funding sources but it turned out to not be accurate information.  Whenever we would question his process because it didn’t line up with how business is done today, Lonnie Radcliffe would start yelling saying, “ladies, I know what I am doing and allow me to work”!  He never ever had any funding whatsoever but continued leading us astray.
• 6^th month, Lonnie Radcliffe signed an Accountability Agreement saying our clients would all be funded in the next 90 days.  Lonnie tied us up with conference calls all night making changes upon changes to our contracts and business plans after they were already in place.
• 8^th month, Lonnie Radcliffe dropped a bomb and told me he no longer wanted to work with our business partner and tried to persuade me to undermined my business partner and steal take her own clients from her.  I told Lonnie that I will not participate in such behavior.  He continued pursuing me and then he turned against me.
• 9^th month, I winded up being homeless.  It was now during the coldest and most wintery time of the year and I had to move me and my son out of a place that had no hot water in the middle of a blizzard.  My original business partner was nice enough to allow my son and me to move into her vacant and furnished Carriage House.  We have worked together and now we are getting our clients funded the right way without Lonnie Radcliffe.
