I have gone to Wilson's auctions for quite a few years and not experienced a problem either as a buyer or a seller.  As to the issue of not being allowed to drive inside,  from the elevated dock a right angle turn must be negotiated and a long truck and trailer combo may not be able to make the turn. It could be this simple.  

At any live  auction once an item is sold the buyer is then responsible for that item.   Lonnie announces this at every sale.  They do not do any checkout of individual  items.  If you purchase an item either carry it with you. or load it into your truck.   Large items where this is not practial,  make sure it is clearly marked with your bid number, and keep an eye on it.  When they say   SOLD   it's  yours to look out for and pay for.
Lonnie's policy is for sellers to bid if they are unwilling to sell at the offered price, If they buy the item back they are  out Lonnies  commision for the sale.

 If you truly believe bids are being pulled from thin air, the solution is simple -- stop bidding!  The auctioneer will have to back up to the last legit bid offered .

Some bidders are very subtle with only a slight nod. a wink, or movement of a finger.  You may be standing next to them and miss it. The bidder only needs to make the auctioneer aware, not you.  The lists the helpers carry are bids left by people who are unable to attend the auction.  totally  legit.  Most auctioneers will do this,  the higher an item sells for benefits the seller whom the auctioneer is working for.

Again I often attend these sales as a buyer ,  and have also sold with them.  No complaints..
Maybe some persons simply don't understand auctions.
