Lottery, Resources Management & Payment Verification They caught me in a lottery scam, claiming that I won $248,000 Calgary Alberta

I recieved a letter in the mail on december 2, 2008. It stated that I was a lucky winner of $248,000. It told me to call Mrs. Michelle Allen at 1-647-833-1810 to further clarification, and instructions on claming my winning.

They sent me a check for $4,985, and told me not to cash it until I contacted Mrs. Michelle Allen. When I called her she said that I was a winner. She told me to deposit the check into my bank account, and to call her again tomorrow.

I was going to deposit it the following morning. I decided to get online, and see if it was legitiment. Thats when I found this fraud site. My letter was the same as alot of people on here, except different contact names.

Do not deposit the check. It is a fake, and is not real.
