I applied for a loan thru Lotus financial and was called back 3 days later telling me I was approved, but in order to get the loan I had to western union 1,809.79 to a Carison Clark in Burnaby British Coulumbia Canada, I never recieved my loan and they never answer the phone when I call.

I got a hold of the authorities in canada but not much they could do. THe loan was sent to British Columbia, but it was picked up in Toronto. I lost out on 1800 dollars and could possibly lose my place to live.

These people need to be stopped and we need our money back. I investigated it a little bit and found that this company is really based out of the United Kingdom. There Website needs to be taken off before this happens to someone else.

IF SOMEONE IS GOING TO LOAN YOU MONEY

AUTHOR: Dawn - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, July 12, 2005

I offer my opinion due to the fact that I was scammed by Accurate Systems back in 2003. It bothers me that I am seeing so many scams just like these and people are buying it.
First things first, dont EVER pay money for a loan. You never hear about any bank, Citifinancial or American General asking for a fee they usually add the insuance to your payment.

My question to all of you that have handed money over to these people is this. If you can come up with that kind of money to give someone for a loan can you take that same money and apply it towards your bills? I am not trying to be mean or anything like that. I fell for the loan for a fee scam too. I got taken for almost 500 I had to endure a few scams before I got smart. It took two years to get out of the debt that I was in. It wasnt easy but it was worth it. 1800 is a lot of money to give someone to get a loan. It is an awful scam because these vultures are playing with other peoples money.

There is a way to put an end though. Stop falling for it. Same thing goes for the people who have gotten ripped off by credit cards asking for money. I almost fell for that one too.

Now, I will b***h slap an idiot for calling me and asking me for my banking information. If someone wants to lend money or give you a credit card then they wont charge you for it. The insurance coverage is blended in with the payment amount per month.

STOP GIVING YOUR MONEY AWAY PEOPLE.When I see some people are literally about to lose their home it pisses me off. These people should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Another piece of advice, creditors put consumers through a background check before offering services so we as consumers should start putting them to the test too........BEFORE doing business with anyone ( I know I do)come here to RIP OFF REPORT, not the BBB, make this your first stop.

Nine times out of ten if the company is making headlines here they are no good, and thats not "profiling" thats just telling it the way it is. I have saved myself from quite a few scams just by checking them out here. Thanks Rip Off Report.
