We purchased a Samsung Dryer from Lowes on Amarillo on June 1, 2007 and did purchase the extended warranty....
Well, Nov. 2, 2008 the dryer died. I contacted the Lowes Serv. Adv. and they scheduled a repairman out for Tuesday Nov. 4th. He quickly looked at the dryer found the problem and said he had to order the part and would take 3-5 business days.

On Nov. 14t we are scheduled for repair and after calling them, they indicated Samsung sent the wrong part??? So, he said he would call them Monday morning and have the correct part send over-night...so we could get repaired on Tuesday, Nov. 18th. Well, still no part and we had to call the repairmen to see what was going on....they blamed Samsung??

So again we contacted Lowe's Ser. Adv. on the 18th and I spoke with a supervisor by the name of Stacy. She said she would submit a request for a replacement since no one can figure out what part is needed. I called her the next day and spoke with Jeff as well as Stacy and she indicated it would take the magical 3-5 business days for the paperwork to go thru in order to get a replacement dryer.

Well, we had a few concerns today so called and come to find out they tell us the request for replacement was denied!!! Story changed in one day and why did no one contact us????? They are back on trying to find the correct part, and in the meantime...we are sitting here with a dryer that does not work -- but yes, we have a wonderful extended warranty to protect us in this event, but does no good at all...no customer service provided at all.

So, now we wait longer so they can find a part for a dryer..should be simple to see what they took out???? The stories change -- no one calls us to keep us on the loop as a simle courtesy....we just want our dryer to work...we followed all the correct procedures -- but they all ignore us.

So from the initial call to report this, it has now been 20 days....

Any suggestions or advise would be great-- but bottom line, they just do NOT care!!!!! What happened to customer service?

Do we go on endlessly until they troubleshoot their problems with our dryer or do the right thing and replace for what we have???

I will never ever buy another appliance from Lowe's -- they tell you one thing and do another....tell you what you want to hear....I am done, and the killer to all of this, we spent over 6000 at Lowes when we did our remodel...that is alot of money for us!!!!! Never again because they obviously do not have the customers best interest...its all for greed and money.

Never again on the extended warranty...I would rather not have this headache-- rather just call a reputable dealer and pay to have the repairs made in a timely manner....someone who will communicate with me- - a local person who cares about their customers.

Lowe's simply sucks-- I am done!!!!!!!!!
