On May 9th I filed a report with the BBB about the first issue.  At this time me and my wife saw an add on T.V. that stated Lowes has Mothersday plants on sale 1 and 1/2 gallon pots were on sale 2 for $10.  I went to the lowes store near my house to purchase several of these plants for mothersday as the add stated.  At the time of checkout I was charged 2/$12,  I asked the cashier Are these the ones that are 2/$10 upon which I was told that 2/$12 was a great deal and ought to get them.  I took them home and that night we saw the same add on TV again 2/$10.  We went back to the store to find out what was going on,   the customer service lady said "wow we have had a lot of people saying that".  after aprox 30 minutes I was issued a partial refund for the overcharges.     On5/28/16 we went to the nearest home improvement store Lowes, again.  They had a large display right inside the doors that stated if you buy the 1.33 gallon bug killer you get the refill {same size} for free.  We also bought several other items,  we went to the checkstand to finalize the purchase and the refill did not come off of the reciept.  the cashier calls another lady over, she states oh ya this is not ringing up correct so you will have to go over to custermer service and let them know..  We walked across the store again stood in line and upon our turn I asked for the manager,  she arrived a little bit later and asked what we needed.  I told her the problem, she crosses her arms and smiles and said "I am sorry"  I tried to explain that it shouldnt happen like this, that they should have someone to fix the problem again "I am sorry"  I got home and called the main office only to be told I am sorry over and over again.  Julie {at corporate}  Said that there is nothing that they can do.  that they cannot override the computer or put a tag on the sale item or anything.  No they cannot.  I am sorry for the inconvience  bla  bla  bla  I have worked in retail enough to know that there is some way to fix the problem.  It might screw up the inventory control or something like that But the customer would not be getting ripped off..  The idea is how many people bought the same thing without looking at the ticket after they left to find out they too were ripped off.  The same thing two different times in just around a month tells me that they need to Fix The Problem  "I am sorry" only works so much.   I am on disability and every penny counts.  It is the idea of how many people this happened to.  going across the store for a refund of something that is free just bothers me  Help
