Lowndes County Radial Tire Co Amateur Imbecile Ripping People Off!! Columbus, Mississippi

Took my car to this shop because I had a flat tire.  The manager realized the problem as soon as he looked at the car.  Sir you need a new tire he says, I can have you one here tomorrow.  I asked him to explain to me why my tire had gone flat and he told me its because it was worn out.  I explained to him that I had only had the tire about 6 months and he then went on to say now that the car was out of alignment.

The next day I received the new tire and I thought all was well until the following day I get to work and what do you know my car is sitting on flat.   I called the shop and the same guy, the so called manager, said he would send a car with an air tank so I could get it to their shop.  I wait and wait and I finally call them again and get the same guy.  He now informs me that he is too busy to send anyone out.  A courtesy phone call would have been nice even if he wasn't sending anyone out.  By the time I get off work their shop is closed and it's the weekend.

The weekend passes and Monday arrives.  I air my tire up and take it back to the shop.  It took them about one minute after they took off the tire this time to find the actual problem which is now a crack in my rim.  I have them to take the brand new tire off so I can get the rim fixed.  I wait a few more minutes and he now informs me that this tire is also bad now.   I was quite upset but was reassured when he told me to go get the rim fixed and come back and we will look at the warranty and figure something out.  I took this to mean that they were going to replace the tire.

Two days later the rim is fixed and I drop it by the tire shop.  He goes to his computer well sir that was the last of those tires in the warehouse you are going to have to buy a more expensive tire. We went back through the entire story of what had happened thus far and he admitted that this was the original problem all along.  He acted as if he had completely forgotten our previous conversation about him replacing the tire.    Well sir he says, I can't buy you a new tire. 

The worst experience I have ever had in dealing with any business.  They lie to you while looking you straight in the face.  Its not only that they lie to you its the fact that they insult your intelligence by changing up the facts.   I will say that there are some bright spots and polite people there but the one running the show, the one with male patter baldness, is far from polite or helpful.   I know nothing about rims and tires but the people I trusted to fix my car have, in my opinion, taken advantage of me and ripped me off!
