Posting on craig's list on dallas/ft. worth region -title read:Aspiring Models/Actresses Needed for Audition Video ( DFW ). The ad posted read this: We are a production company that is seeking new ( no experince ) female models/actresses 18-45 tp fo;, am edicatopma; aidotopm /interview video to be distributed in the modeling industry of both the US and Europe. The video will show all phases of the process and help to prepare new models for what to expect and how to properly respond. All work is done locally and will pay pay $900 for the entire shoot per model/actress. We will handle all phases of production, makeup and direction will be given as to what will be expected and how to best obtain the desired final result. This will also give the aspriring models/actresses needed experience so that they will do a better audition down their career path. We are looking for truly aspiring models/actresses, not those with a bag of experience and as such, those with much expereince will not be considered. I applied to this posting and after numerous email returns of information to share, the producer/director as this person stated he was Steven Ladd, asked for my private areas to be explicitly described and when I inquired why such information was needed for instructional video, I got a return email stating, I was not a good fit for the industry and wished me good luck. This person has my contact information and mislead me and who knows who else into thinking it was a legit company wanting an educational video to be placed. I feel scammed and concerned about having shared my photo and contact information with such a person as I was instructed to do so in hopes to being in this educational video. I do not want to have anyone else be scammed or share their information for possible fraudlent activity and who knows what else. I have proof of all the emails sent to me by this Steven Ladd person and can furnish such evidence to prove my statement.
