Lucille Roberts Inc., closed the facility where I excersised and moved members to another city. Without even giving members a choice! Over 50 miles from where I live! It takes approximately one hour to get there with no traffic! When I asked to cancel my membership, all I got is "no answer". I am on my third certified letter to their organization. This is no way to treat your customers.
The really sad thing about it, is that I actually enjoyed going to Lucille Roberts. The people there are friendly and helpful and the facility that I attended (Upper Darby) was always clean and safe. The company closed this facility and moved membership to Philadelphia. (City Line Avenue) This is just too far for me to travel.
I am disappointed and frustrated with this company. Since they moved their gym, and I am unable to get there. I should be able to cancel my membership. I will keep complaining and sending certified letters and calling until I get my money back.
