Lucille Roberts Nanuet Deceptive Sales and Business Practices Nanuet, New York

Let me explain why I'm extremely angry with Lucille Roberts of Nanuet and why I believe that Lucille Roberts is a scam.

My teenage daughters each enrolled in a no commitment membership at Lucille Roberts in Nanuet, NY which was advertised in window of Lucile Roberts as $5 per week without commitment.

At the end of summer vacation, we saw that our girls were too busy with school to use their Lucille Roberts membership. Therefore, we called to cancel their memberships at Lucille Roberts.

We were told that there was one month notice required to cancel. We were upset to learn that we were required to pay for a month that our children wouldn't be able to use: 2 x $21.99 = $43.98

As upset as I was at that time, imagine how livid I was when Lucille Roberts took another $43.98 out of my account today, a month later: 2 x $43.98 = $87.96

The so-called no commitment Lucille Roberts membership has cost me an extra $87.96 of my very hard earned money that could have bought shoes or a coat for one of my kids. My complaints so far have fallen on deaf ears.

In my opinion, Lucille Roberts is a scam, not because they aren't a real gym. Lucille Roberts is a scam because of deceptive advertising and unfair business practices. Despite Lucile Roberts' attractive promotions, you'll probably be better of finding an alternative gym, whether you live near Nanuet, NY or not.
