The Biggest nightmare of my Life! Please someone help us!!!

We contacted and Paid this company to prepare a web site for us (Lucky Poker League back in early November 2008. Mark after listening to us on the phone told us that the cost would normally be 7,000 plus ..for this job but because he had multi tasking employees he could perform the work and have it done before Christmas Dec 2008. and the cost would be 2,500 dollars. He only had this premium package available because of a special web site offer for 4 more Companies to take advantage.

I called him back the next day told us that he only had several packages still too offer, informed me that he was the owner of the company that they have top service in-house Designers programmers writers and 40 plus staff to make sure this would be done before Christmas I informed him that We had talked to a company called Heritage and they had quoted us the same price they he had quoted us.. could he do it for less.

His comment was that company was know to bait you then after they got started that they would asked for more money. We should run from them. He would show me on his site the 20 or thirty satisfied customers that I could show the product he had designed. He gave me an address to go to on the web Which is no longer available. I looked at this while he walked me thru several and decided to go with Imagination. He agreed to take half the money up front, which turned out to be more. Sent me a link to pay for this.

FOUND out later this is a company that is for just his 20 or so companies he has on the internet from web design, resume writing, web site companies and many others. Anyway we paid the $1,785 dollars which included one month of web hosting (an extra $65 plus the additional fee) when I questioned him about this said everyone has to pay this upfront charge but hosting fee will not go into effect until the web site is up!! (He now has Charged my bank account for addition $65 fees , total of five more times)

I posted all the information on the Control panel for the web site. I was contacted by several people that could hardly be understood because their English was very difficult to understand. Sent 60 pages of information between directions and text in three to five days. NO ONE contacted me. Called and Talked to Mark told me Jack was the head Programmer and another person would be my contact. Called them they said they would call me to get all the information and review my postings on the control panel. I was contact the next night after 8:00 pm East Cost time and interview by a Gentlemen, again very difficult to understand because of his English!!

Several more days went by a week, contacted them again on the control panel everyday. Only response was we are review and working on your project. Became very concerned after nothing seemed to be happening in the first few days of December 2007. Called Mark on the phone got Jack on a 3 way conversation was told all were working on and the programming and design were being worked on. Asked the question If we were still on target to have done by the end of the year. Was told YES!!

I MADE CONTACT 5-10 times EVERY DAY ON THE CONTROLL PANEL, SAW NOTHING HAPPENING. finally ON December 15, 16 SAW A SAMPLE OF THE home PAGE VERY WRONG VERY CRUDE BUT SOMTHING. Was contact by Jack that if I wanted My project completed on time, that the design was almost completed and the programming was just about complete. but for them to continue to work on this they HAD to have final payment! and they could it done on time! I was so anxious to get this project done I agreed but told Jack AND ANOTHER COMPANY person at .....imagination! MY CONCERNS (posted on controll panel) THAT I NEED THIS DONE BY Jan 11 2008 at the latest. Was assured that should not be a problem. Posted my concerns as I did many times on the control panel. By this time I have posted several hundred times re-riting to make instructions and information more clear.

Was contact By MS L in late Dec that everything was going good and that she was now in charge of the project. Called to talk to Mark in late December said that he never promised that it would be done before the end of the Year, but this project was much larger than they anticipated and he felt they could have everything done by the middle to end of January. I had been given a date by one of the Venues that hired us that they needed the web site up by Jan 21, 2008. Told both Jack and Mark, was assured that there was no problem Programming was almost completed.

After the Holidays and into the middle of January. We still saw nothing in the way of programming. The design person that had now changed from a Mr. G to a new person Allen, well Allen by control panel contact told me that he need some more information from us to complete. The information he requested was information that was on the control panel and sent 4 -6 different times 9 weeks earlier. I now assume NO ONE EVER read the control panel again posting our concerns daily and the Jan 21 deadline approaching was told by Jack was almost done would be up and running by that date. The 19th of January, Still reassured that this would be up!! Saturday Jan 19, Late at night 2:00am Jack tells me it will NOT be up and running. Jan 21 Holiday Martin Luther King Holiday. I go to my meeting, my contract cancelled his contract with us. (the people that I have assured the Web site will be up and running)!!

Now I called to talk to Mark on Jan 22, 2008. As always he gives me more excuses, and I want to believe him, He is a believable person. Says he has to fire the programmer because he was not working fast enough. If he has too, he is a program will oversee and make sure is given Priority. But will get done says I have to be patient. If I would go to anyone else this project would cost lots more 15,000 or so give me his trust, he will finish in no more than 2 or 3 weeks.

Now February 11, still not done no more completed on the project. Several employees, who I have to remain unanimous, now they are telling me to try and get your money pack this project will never get done tell me about this web site and said they feel bad because this has happed (not the first time) This HAS BEEN THE BIGGEST NIGHTMARE OF MY LIFE. I HAVE LOST EVERYTHING BECAUSE OF THESE PEOPLE. have ASKED FOR MY money BACK Mark HANGS UP ON ME. What DO I DO. I pray to God someone can help me!
