Luckyvitamin had no problem taking my money the very first day my (LARGE) order for vitamins was placed, they had a message saying it would take 3-5 days before they could ship the order.

5 days later they changed the message to 5-7 days, I complained at the 5 day mark and was told by a customer rep via email that my order was going to shipping and I would get a shipping notification soon.

Nothing happened

8 days later I requested immediate satisfaction and got a jerk email of a copy and paste of their new 5-7 days, but that is not the contract they agreed to, they agreed to 3-5 days when I ordered, then changed their message after a few days of sitting on my order.

to add insult to injury, they said I could pay them more money to get the service they had already agreed to and committed interstate wire fraud by not fulfilling.. I wrote them back saying I didn't appreciate that and I needed my problem escalated to a manager.

no response after that.. it has now been TEN DAYS and the order has not even been sent to shipping.

This is in direct contradiction to the agreed terms, and to the promise sent by a customer rep- THIS IS A FRAUDULENT COMPANY, THEY HAVE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND THEY LIE THROUGH THEIR TEETH.

First message(when I made my order)
WEATHER ADVISORY: Due to inclement weather conditions at our North Eastern Distribution Center. Order processing times may be delayed. Please allow 3-5 days for all order processing as we work to ship orders as quickly as possible. Tracking information will be sent via email upon shipment of your order. Thank you in advance for you patience and understanding.

The promise (5 days later after they had committed fraud)
Your order is currently being processed and should be shipping out as soon as possible. You will receive an email with confirmation of shipment and tracking information as soon as it ships. Thank you for choosing LuckyVitamin.com and your continued patience while we work to process and ship your order as quickly as possible.
Thank You,

After nothing happened, I got a copy and paste response:
This Banner Information is displayed on the web site as well as included in your email confirmation;

Due to winter storms and systems maintenance shipment of your order may be delayed.
Order processing times are currently 5-7 business days for all standard shipping orders.
We are working to resume normal 24-48 hour processing times as soon as possible.
You may select an expedited shipping method (UPS 1, 2 or 3 Day) and your order will process with priority.
We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

Notice the number of days changed.. and when they sent me this it was already PAST 7 days.

Ridiculously bad customer service, and my request to escalate this to a manger
was completely ignored.

Never doing business with this hellhole again.

there is NO EXCUSE to not process an order due to inclement weather!!
I can understand a delay once it is shipped, but it's ridiculous to dream
they can commit online fraud in regards to processing the order and keep
making up random numbers of how long it will take them, and then lie, and request more
money to do what they already took my money to do in the first place.

I am now out over a hundred dollars and these losers have not done anything
to make this right after being contacted four times(and they read the mails
and responded with lies so it's not a case of a missing email).

The end. For them as having me as a customer.

I would report them to the Better Business Bureau but they hide their address
via a 3rd party domain service, probably to continue their interstate wire fraud and theft.

FINAL UPDATE - PWNED!!

AUTHOR: Customer - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, February 23, 2010

OK this is the final chapter in this exercise in stupidity and FAIL on Luckyvitamin's part:

Remember I said they had sent me an email with UPS tickets saying my order had partially shipped and I thought that was probably a lie since you can make a UPS ticket without actually shipping anything- turns out.. that's EXACTLY what they did, but I was too smart for them. I managed to get the charges off my credit card and cancel that card so they could not put further charges on it..

eleven days after the initial order they still had not shipped and were asking for a new card number, even though they had told me twice in that time period.. they had already shipped!!! Caught them in 3 lies, and that's why they got the surprise of their life when the card was no longer able to be used after I got tired of their lying.

LESSON LEARNED: Luckyvitamin has very poor customer service, and uses a lot of lies to cover the ineptitude of their shipping, which is most likely what is known as "drop shipping" meaning they don't even control their shipping, they just answer emails with lies until the guys actually in charge of the shipping do their job. Nothing they told me in the email had any basis in reality and they knew it, but they lied anyways.

Way to lose a customer for life, on a relatively expensive order that would have been repeated several times if they had simply lived up to their contractual agreement, given good customer service, and told the truth, and done the right thing. These people have a LOT to learn about how to do business honorably. I would not suggest ever using LUCKYVITAMIN.com unless you don't mind a lot of lies and a potentially interminable waiting period to have your order processed if they hit some kind of snag, and absolutely nothing done to make it right, when they do you wrong.

I was lucky enough to head them off at the pass and remove their ability to steal my money, thank god!!

Just got a note they allegedly shipped a PARTIAL order, UPS, which is better shipping than what I paid for.. I will believe this is all over when the goods are in hand, since you can create a UPS ticket without actually shipping anything.. I've been through that before with other companies.. so.. I'll believe it when I see it.. but at least this is some headway on a very long and annoying ride to simply getting what I ordered.
