They emailed me saying they got my application from ziprecruiter. I did not remember applying to them, but followed through with the instructions. I was suspicious and googled the website as well as if there were any previous scams. They wanted me to create a google account (even though I already had one), contact the hiring manager, and do a briefing. When I contacted the person, they wanted to do the "interview" all through a chat. I asked if I would ever be able to talk to a person and they avoided the question. They told me they had a temporary location in Colorado and was going to expand to San Francisco. I googled the address of their location in Colorado and it was an empty location. I decided to go through with the interview for fun. At the end, I was told I would be offered the job and had to send money to a company vendor. I immediately knew this was a scam. Here are some of the replies of the interviewer from the conversation.

"You've been impressive so far and I think you will be a perfect fit for this position. Hold on online while i send your answers to my superiors for review and consideration. Kindly stay close to your device for 5 - 15 minutes. Okay?"

"After careful consideration, i have good news for you.
The good news is you've just been confirmed qualified for the position of an Administrative Assistant . You are welcome to Luminous Power Technologies. You are now given a chance to show your commitment, charisma, diligence and be a productive employee. Welcome to the online team!"

"Your paperwork (job offer letter, USCIS Form I-9 and W-4 forms) will be sent to you via email tomorrow morning by one of the company's supervisors. I will be here to inform you before it is sent so you can be on the lookout for it. What is your preferred email address?"

"You are not to send the information you are to keep hold of it till you meet your supervisor...but you are to resume work..and get paid for your working equipments and tasks as I have forwarded your name to a supervisor in luminous power tech"

"You will be sent a check...next tomorrow for your working tools and your task1 which I will be sending to you tomorrow morning... But on Wednesday or at most Thursday you will be receiving a check from an affiliated company of luminous power tech And in the next two days after the check is been deposited into your account it will be cleared...and I will be issuing you a trusted company vendor of luminous which you will send part of the money to for your working equipment...and you hold some of the money for the task...as soon as you send the money to the company vendor in less than 2days your working materials will be issues to you through same way(Fedex)"
