I bought the hosting 2 years ago from simplehelix.com for my new business. Unfortunately, I ended up not to use the hosting 2 months later after buying. I already contacted the one of their representatives to notify them to prevent automatic subscription. Then, one of their representatives told me that it won't be automatically subscribed unless you pay for next year. So, I never worry about the hosting service again. However, on this Christmas (Dec. 25 2009) the company charged me $200 for renewal. I am really shocked that they automatically transferred my money through paypal. Since the company doesn't work on holiday and weekend, i called them next Monday for full refund. The company told me that I need to contact paypal to receive the full payment. Then, I contacted Paypal to request full refund. Nevertheless, Paypal told me to contact the company to reverse the transaction. Paypal told me that they don't have authority to pay me back.

On next day, I contacted the company to reverse the transaction and they told me that they won't do so according to its policy. I didn't request refund for the period i didn't use for 9 months. I requested the refund for extra 1 year I'll never use. It is apparently true that I don't need their service. They must warn me that their will be renewal if it is non-refundable. They only notified the renewal of domain hosting, not the renewal payment! Also, they sent me only overdue invoice that I didn't pay for the renewal. The invoice made me think that their will be no recurring payment unless i pay for it. They have contacted me to move their server and change my password without my permission, but they never notified me that there will be renewal. Their customer service and policy is only for their profit and right.
