No matter what you do, DO NOT, under any circumstances, pay these people via check, bank wire, or any other form of unsecured payment that would allow them to take your money with impunity!
I asked employee Carlos over the phone to give me a better price on a Rolex Datejust II I saw on ebay. He said he consulted with his manager Robert who could give me $7250, and sent me a Paypal invoice. I initially paid right away, but the payment was reversed because of some security concerns which paypal would not disclose to me over the phone. After getting things straightened out with Paypal, I asked Carlos for another invoice. He said that if I could not pay via Paypal for whatever reason, they would also accept personal check or bank wire, and sent me a $7100-invoice for use with wire transfer (he claimed that they charged less because the fee was less for bank wire than for paypal). After discovering that it was actually going to be more expensive for me to pay via wire transfer, I go the situation sorted out with Paypal and sent the full 7250.
The problem started as soon as I called the store. Robert answered and said that they could not ship until paypal gave them the okay. Then he admitted that they had, but he had decided that because apparently they only had one of these watches left, he wanted a higher price for it. Yes, he actually tried to negotiate with me for a higher price AFTER my payment had been made. When I called him out for going back on his word, he said he would take $7150 but I had to pay him via wire transfer, which raised some major red flags. He refused to honor his committment and attempted to force me to use an unsecured method of payment which most consumer protection agencies recommend never using. They didn't actually succeed in ripping me off, but if you have any doubt that they were going to, you probably wouldn't be reading this. Carlos was helpful but Robert would not hear of it when I mentioned Carlos's name. He said that Carlos was "just an employee" and not authorized to make these decisions. Robert was rude and interrupted me at least a dozen times, yelling at me over the phone in a very unprofessional manner. He clearly does not know how to run a serious business, and if you buy from them, you are buying at your own risk. When I pointed out what a lack of integrity it shows when you go back on your word, he actually laughed at me. This man is running the company and he doesn't take his work seriously. He doesn't care about his reputation, and he will throw away his good name to make a quick buck. It doesn't matter what he says, you can get at least as good at deal from another store, and there is no need to support he business of a sleazy lunatic.

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company
Complain with FACTS
AUTHOR: Carlos Franco - ()
SUBMITTED: Monday, June 30, 2014
This person first contact to our company was back in May 16, when we agreed on the price of $ 7,250.00 for a Watch that is worth $9,100.00.
After a month of callings and “rejected” Payments by Paypal, the person calls and ask for additional discount and offer to pay via wire transfer (Friday June 27, 2014). We granted the additional discount on the watch, and provided all required information.
For some reason not explained to us yet, the person decided not to proceed with the wire transfer solution (HE OFFERED, read his own email offering this option). And decided to send Paypal Payment, which was NOT LONGER part of the AGREEMENT.
This is a very competitive market and watches price is determine by replacement cost. We are not longer available to accept the $ 7,250.00 via Paypal on this watch, the fees involved are TOO HIGH.
We processed a refund RIGHT AWAY.
Why is this person complaining? Because after a month of waiting and many changes requested by this "customer" we decided not to accept this business? Welcome to United States!
