I found reports on here about Lynette Sheldon Actors Studio & wanted to add what goes on there with the fire hazard. I went to that class I didn't like it a bit. Because Lynette smokes like a chimney. She smokes in the acting class. It's against the New York Fire Dept fire laws for anybody to smoke inside a office building like that but she does it, says so what. Smoke gets all over the studio. Then she spray around air freshener so the owner of the building and janitor don't find out. It's like watching a teen ager smoking and hiding evidence of it on there mama. Landlord of that building should evict her fast. One night she gonna burn down 1 East 28th Street.

Ton Ton, whoever you are, I have very unfortunate news for you. Ms. Sheldon quit smoking over a year ago. She is into holistic health and healthy living. She's into healthy everything. You may want to check your facts a little better before writing any additional anti-testimonials. Sending the fire department after a non-smoker is not a good idea.

I am appalled by this statement. I have studied with this teacher consistently for the past year. Her classes are always inspirational! Because of her dedication as a teacher, I am becoming the actor that I've always wanted to be.
I chose to study with LS because a friend of mine who trained with her for only one year, now has a major Hollywood career, and contributes it all to her teaching. Every actor who has regularly attended these classes has grown enormously because of the high level of training.
This student was consistently late, unprepared, and only attended a few classes. He was criticized for his lack of professionalism and rightfully so. Any good teacher would do the same thing.
As for the smoking. I have never seen her chain smoke in class and this attack is completely unjustified.

I went to Lynette Sheldon Actors Studio for classes. This is true. She does smoke in the class. It's awful. That class of hers isn't too great either.
