MAC Entertainment "Took my money and ran" Las Vegas, Nevada

I will try and keep this short.

On March 8th, 2010, I made the mistake of not checking out this company's Better Business Bureau report (The have a F) and went to a casting call they had through Craigslist (a woman named Sarah responded to my inquiry) for background talent. 

I was given a "Coors Light" reading to memorize and then preform in front of a group of casting agents. (Robert Rankin, David Anthony and a couple of other men who did not introduce themselves) David Anthony proceeded to name off all the movies that he has provided casting for...I was impressed and wanted to sign with them. 

They directed my to Tom who charged my card $100, told me to register DavidAnthonyCasting.com ($25) and then told me I needed new head shots.  I ran around getting photos done and printed ($100, pretty cheap becuase a friend of mine is a photographer) and called to schedule my follow-up appointment. 

After two "no call no shows" by Tom and the company I finally got a hold of them via their now defunct phone number and told them that I needed to come in to show my new pictures. 

I finally got my appointment and was told to do the same "Coors Light" reading, although this time it was just Mr. Rankin and two other gentleman.  Mr. Rankin liked me and told me that a new show called "The Odds" was in the works and will contact me when they shoot.

I was then told that I needed to pay the fee and sign with David Anthony Casting, even though I told them several times that I had already did this.  They finally found my paper work and said that they will contact me when "The Odds" begins shooting.

On June 18th I tried contacting Mac Entertainment but their phone number is "out of service".  When I went to their offices it was completely cleaned out and after speaking to the building manager's assistant I was told that Mac Entertainment had bailed on them as well.

I do not know what to do.  $100 is not something I can throw around in these times and I'm only hoping that this does not continue to happen others.
