November 24th, 2009 I purchased a Mac G5 Dual Core 2.0 GHZ computer from Richard Wilson from Macdealz off of Ebay. When I got the computer I immediately took it out of the box and turned the computer on. The computer turned on and then shut off about 5 minutes later. After that I would turn the computer back on to find it get stuck on the startup screen and the computer fans would turn up so loud it sounded like the computer was going to blow up.
I took the computer to a mac center and they told me the harddrive was bad. So when i got home i put my backup harddrive in to test the computer and I still had the same problems with the computer not working. So after getting fed up with the computer I notified Richard Wilson of Macdealz from Ebay that I was shipping the computer back.
These are emails from Richard himself:
Odd for a hard drive to go bad. If that is all it is then you should
send the hard drive back for replacement. There is a 30 day warranty on
all the hardware, but sending the whole computer back is obviously a
lot more expensive (and risky since packing is a challenge). Let me
know what you want to do.
Thanks, Richard / MacDealz

Oh, if your old computer is a G5 then you can just put in the old hard
drive an go back to work; if not, then send back the hard drive.
Thanks, Richard / macdealz

Hi,
I'm sorry your computer didn't work the way we expected it to. I can understand your feeling about the computer.
I test everything I ship before sending. I boot the computers numerous
times during the process of getting them ready for shipping. Your
computer was started up to the hard and the start screen prior to
shipping; so, whatever happened happened after that. Unfortunately, I
don't have any more of these computers right now. Sending it back for a
refund is a possibility, but not likely the best one for either of us.
This is particularly not the best if the problem is just an easily
replaces hard drive.
Let me know what you think.
My apologies for the problem.
Thanks, Richard / MacDealz

Look down, scroll down, to the bottom of this email for the address.
I just bought another one of these G5s, btw.

I Spend $447 on the computer plus an additional $40+ dollars on shipping the computer back to Richard wilson of Macdealz from Ebay. Once he received the computer he told me the computer had been damaged during shipping. He said that the harddrive was damaged and the case was damaged from not being packed correctly which is not the case here. After talking to him for a good 10 minute he wasn't wanting to give me a new computer or refund like he stated in the email response we had with each other.
Luckly, I've contacted Ebay and I have disputed the wrong doing of Mr. Wilson of Macdealz. Hopefully this issue will be resolved in a timely manner.
I suggest not buying from Richard Wilson of Macdealz on Ebay.
