Macey & Aleman Law Firm Customer Service Fort Worth Texas

I scheduled an appointment with this firm at their Fort Worth Texas office on 3/24/2009. According to the person on the other end of the phone, this office is only open on Friday's so I was asked what time I wanted the appointment to be. I scheduled the appointment to be Friday 3/27/2009 at 1:00pm.

My wife and I were at their office at 12:45pm and the person at the receptionist desk gave me several papers to fill out with the intstructions to complete as much as you can before your appointment. On their website the only instructions was to bring as much information with you as you can and there was no instructions in the confirming email other than the be their on time.

I completed all the documents that was provided me and was reviewing the documents when the attorney escorted the client before me out at around 1:30pm (remember my appointment was 1:00pm) and was told by the receptionist that we were next but had not finished completing the documents she gave me (which was not true and she never even asked me). The attorney then took the client that was scheduled after me and expected me to waite at least another hour for my turn.

When I approached the front desk person and asked what was going on, she said that because I was not finished with the paper work the attorney to the other person because he was. I was furious and told this person to cancel my appointment, I was not about to pay to be treated like this. She said that tihs has happened before and to contact the Chicago office, when i did and asked to speak to a supervisor, I was put on hold for a half hour waiting for a supervisor and gave up.

After searching on line for comments on this firm, I think I am one of the lucky one's in that I did not have to pay to be treated like this. This type of behavior seem to be the rule rather than the exception.

I am sure somone from this firm will argue that they serve hundreds if not thousands of happy clients with only a small percentage that are unhappy. To that I say, if your standards are not to work towards 100% satisfaction that we as consumers should go to someone who is. It is not the fact that a mistake is made it is the fact that no ones sees the mistake or takes responsibility.

The receptionist didn't as she works for the building, obviously the attorney did not care or he would have met with me at the scheduled time. The person I spoke to at the Chicage office did not care and even defended this practice and when asked to speak to a supervisor was content to put me on hold and never check back to see if i was ever helped.

There are plenty of attorney's that provide this service, look there and not to this firm would be my advise.
