I hired Macey and Aleman for a Chapter 7 bankruptcy in April, and paid all of the fees in full. It's July and I still have not heard anything from them and it is impossible for me to get hold of my attorney. I had a significant increase in my income about a month ago and have been trying to find out if that would effect my case. The only response that I get when I call Macey and Aleman is that they'll leave a message for my attorney to call me back. I am completely fed up with them and have recently retained another attorney. My new attorney suggests that I should file a complaint with the New York Bar about Macey and Aleman. If anyone else has had problems with this law firm, you should do the same thing.
