Macey's, Harmon's, Albertson's Occasional over-pricing of ad items ripoff Orem Utah

This more of a heads-up than a complaint. Check your tape at the grocery store, if you think everything is correctly priced by the scanning crew. Not necessarily true. Way too many items to keep track of.

Of the three stores mentioned in this report, Macey's has the most frequent pricing errors on my tapes. About every third tape has an error, with the record being 3 on a not-very-long tape. I've also seen the same item priced differently in two different bins. Also two items priced differently in the same bin (regular orange juice versus pulp-added). All these within the past month.

However, Macey's customer service is outstanding at tracking down the correct price and rectifying the situation. Even the store manager helps. In spite of the mis-pricing, I still prefer to shop at Macey's first.

Harmon's is more infrequent. I've seen both under and over pricing there. I got a chuckle for two months at complimenting their employees for underpricing Holland Dutch ice cream. Maybe it was intended. Their customer service is also outstanding for rectifying the situation. This is my second choice for shopping.

Albertson's is also more infrequent. However, they don't seem to care about rectifying the situation. Others have told me the same. They also have the highest prices for the mix of groceries I buy. I rarely go there, unless Harmon's doesn't have enough quantity for their Albertson's ad match.
