Macy's Willow Bend / Simmons Mattress Simmons Mattress manufacturers structural defects NOT covered under their "warranty" if any stain can be found Plano Texas

I bought a Simmons mattress set at Macy's a couple of years ago and the mattress and box spring failed due to manufacturer's defects (according to the inspector Macy's sent out). Macys refused to honor the 10 year "warranty" because there was a small faint stain on the mattress, which they claim voids the structural warranty by Simmons.  Macy's claimed that other manufacturers use this same ploy to get out of honoring warranties for structural defects. After reading other complaints about this company and mattress manufacturer. It looks like any excuse will do to avoid standing behind their products.  Needless to say, I won't be shopiping at Macy's or buying another mattress from Simmons. Buyer beware!
