Changed insurance companys because Madison Mutual was cheaper. Was told they only go back on driving record 3 years. I was told that there was no problem and I would not have any problems with being Cancelled. Paid them, 25 days later received cancellation notice, reasons for cancellations was claims made 5-6 years ago. Also claims made on my HOUSE. Collision with Deer, Lightning strike House, ect. I received cancellation notice Friday 9-12-03 and cancellation dater was 9-20-03 only 5 business days to find insurance. Now I have to pay another insurance company and wait until I get a refund from Madison Mutual, which will probably be around 4-6 weeks... Keep away from this company they are BAD NEWS !!!!

Terrible customer service

Tried to get a hold of the adjuster to get a rental car many times because some idiot rear ended me at the parking lot but all I get is nothing but recording. I was not comfortable driving my car to work with my damaged car 50 miles on the freeway because I can't rely on the rope tied to hold the broken trunk, worried that the trunk might pop open on the highway which could've been more serious. I had no choice but to ask for someone for a ride to work because this insurance company won't provide me a rental car right away just because my car it's drivable. Well duh!!! It is drivable but not on interstate! I find this a safety issue. They wanted me to wait until my car is in the auto body shop to get a rental car which will take almost 2 weeks. If you get hit by someone and he/she is insured by this company, good luck getting good customer service. Insurance companies are not really your friend. They're your enemies.

Get what you pay for... Cut rate companies

There is something to be said about getting something cheaper... You get what you pay for. When it comes to dentists, parachutes, plastic surgery, and insurance, you probably shouldn't go cut rate...

Loyalty to an insurance company does matter. If you're jumping ship for a few dollars, it shows that you're not a real deep thinker. Go for quality and hold it and you gain long term discounts and accident forgiveness programs, and a quality relationship with an agent who wants to keep you as a client and will find ways to look out for you.

Cut rate companies are for the lucky, or the losers... choose one.
