This company sent me a notice indicating that I needed to call 866-560-9273 if I didn't want my credit card billed for a magazine subscription to continue. When I tried to call the number, I got a message saying "invalid pager number".
Luckily, by searching this website (badbusinessbureau.com) I found that several other people have had similar problems and some kind soul posted a valid phone number .. 800-382-5210 ... which I was able to call and cancel my subscription.
When I notified them that the number on the card was invalid, they were unconcerned and when I asked if they wanted the number they said no. They obviously have no intention of correcting the problem!!

If you still have the card you received with the invalid number, make copies of the card and send them to your state's Attorney General's office and the Utah Attorney General's office. Advise them you contacted the company through the correct number and give them the correct number. Tell them that the company was not concerned about correcting the number. Let the Attorney General's office find out what this company is up to.
