My doctor ordered a standard mammogram and that is what Ibelieved was being charged to my insurance company. Instead several weeks later, I receive a ridiculous bill for a diagnostic xray which never occurred but that I am being charged for above and beyond my medical insurance coverage.
I switched from Weinstein imaging because I had read on-line that they had tried the same thing to another woman but iit turns out the Magee-Womens Hospital at 300 Halket Street
Pittsburgh, PA 15213 does the same. I also felt like the technician who did my xray what mentally somewhere else as I had to repeat myself several times because she was not listening to my answers to her questions. Maybe this hospital is OK for OBGYN, but they suck for mammograms and are insurance company scam artists in my opinion!
