MAGGIE WHITFORD FOR AMERICAN POETS SOCIETY RIPOFF DISHONEST FRAUDULENT COMPANY BALTIMORE Maryland

My daughter had entered a poetry contest june of 2004 and was sent a letter from maggie whitford of american poets society stating my daughter had won a poetry contest. Maggie told us that she will publish the poem in the next poetry book coming out in sept 2004. She stated that we could order the book the poem was to be published in at a cost of $47.50 a piece, so I ordered 1 book. Months after I had not heard anything from her and emailed and called the company numerous times.

It is now Feb 2005, 8 months later and no response. I have since filed a complaint with the BBB and have also left some nasty messages to the compnay staing my disgust and my phone #. No one has since contacted me. Beware, this is a real scam people. Maggie Whitford is a decietful P O Sh#t. Maggie Whitford does not return phone calls and does not return emails!!! She had no problem cashing the check I sent her though.
