I signed up with Magic Kids as I couldn't find anything anywhere on the web to indicate it was a rip off.

I sent in my money to get the initial package. I started sending out mailings and tried to sell their kids clothes.

Included in the initial package was some sales hype about a "Free Subscription Directory." This "free" directory had a $504 deposit, that would be refunded after selling $4,900 worth of clothes. This directory is supposed to be of "fresh names and addresses" of "big-volume buyers."

Then I started getting letters back, undeliverable.

I called Magic Kids to cancel my "deposit" of their "free" directory. I was told that I actually had some orders! They were very small orders, and I requested more information regarding the orders - like who placed the orders and when. The woman on the phone couldn't tell me anything. She said the information would be sent to me the following week.

That was two months ago, and I've heard nothing from them since. I have no paychecks.

I have put it in writing that I want my $504 back, since their directory is worthless, and I am also disputing it with my credit card company. I will accept the loss of the initial $165 for the distributor fee. But I've been ripped off for a scam of a "directory."

Everyone beware. Magic Kids is just another scam. I've been screwed out of sales (that probably didn't even exist - I was probably lied to about that so I would be discouraged from cancelling), and had my money stolen from me, and then ignored. A legitimate company would have responded. A legitimate company would have sent me information about the sales and PAID me for them. Magic Kids is OBVIOUSLY NOT LEGITIMATE.

All I want is a legitimate job, and what I get is ripped off and lied to.

Magic Kids USA Incorporated is no scam

AUTHOR: Alicia - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, June 27, 2012

I am an employee of Magic Kids USA Incorporated and have been now for over seven years.  In the beginning, I did not get many sales, because I did not put forth any efforts.  Magic Kids USA Incorporated sells to closeout buyers, and once you match them up, you can see true profit.  I am working with a major national chain now, in a sale, and am proud to be a part of Magic Kids USA Incorporated.  Trust me, I have seen enough scams, and Magic Kids USA Incorporated is not one!!! Just like with any job, if you put forth the effort, you will see rewards.

Don't Jump the Gun, this may be a good business

AUTHOR: Chris - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, January 31, 2007

I'm currently doing a business review of Magic Kids USA and have found some dealers who are very happy with the business and are making so decent money. The business has been around for over 10 years and they are in a growth mode. Often the customer service may suffer during high growth years.

It's not easy hiring good people and keeping the systems up to date to handle the growth. Magic Kids USA provides a nice product and it's up to the individual to build a savy, successful marketing approach. There are hundreds of approaches that would work. I'll report me complete findings soon.

sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company your comments on this policy are welcome!
