Two months ago, we brought in a down comforter and an expensive womens shirt from Bebe which was recently purchased for close to $100.  After 3 weeks, the items were still not ready.  Upon going in to see if they were, we discovered they couldn't find any of the items.  We kindly waited an additional 2 weeks.  They somehow found the down comforter, now 5 weeks out of drop off.  They managed to find the shirt as well however they broke the chain that was on the shoulder.  For this, they needed additional time once again which we gave.  The owner called after a few requests for the shirt and left a voicemail (which we saved) stating they found the chain and it would be fixed in a couple days.  2 more weeks after that voicemail, nothing!  Finally, today now over 2 months since dropping off our things, we went in and spoke to a woman who was very nice and helpful but advised to call the owner, James King directly.  He called back to say sorry and there was nothing he could possibly do.  He stated his four dry cleaners are in jeporady of closing and he has no money.  He used the word "dude" throughout the conversation making us think we were not speaking to the owner of a "reputable" business.  The climax of the call resulted in James talking in circles continually and attempting to make us feel bad for him and his "situation."  He said because we were upset that he would not work with us at all. He first denied completely the time frame  of the events until we played his recorded voicemail he personally left over the phone for him.  His memory suddenly came back upon hearing it and yet still he continued to yell and shout.  They have lost any of my future business as well and my family and friends that have gone there for years, all over a measley few dollars.
