I placed an order for 4 magazines subscriptions with Mags4Cheap on 2-03-2008. I received my first magazine in April. I called Mags4Cheap on 4-24-2008 and spoke with "Daniel" to find out what happened to the other 2 magazines. He said he didn't know but he would put a rush on them so that I would receive the magazines very soon. He apologized to me and offered me a free additional subscription (from a list of about 20) for my trouble.

Today is 6-6-2008 and I still do not have 2 of the magazines that I paid for 5 months ago. I have called 15 times and left messages about my order status and my calls have never been returned. Their recorded message says "all calls are returned within 1 business day."
Today I called the customer service at Cosmo Girl and they offered to start my subscription if I fax them proof that I made the payment to Mags4Cheap. Even though they have not received the order from Mags4Cheap yet.

Oprah Magazine however will not offer the same corrective action even though I have explained the situation to them.

I called Mags4Cheap today and actually got "Brian the alleged Supervisor" on the phone. He was rude, talked over me when I was talking, told me that Cosmo Girl didn't know what they were talking about or how to run a company. He offered no apology for the 15 calls that were not returned. He finally offered to return my money only for the Oprah Magazine because he realized that even though "Daniel" said he was going to take care of it that did not happen. He said that the refund would be a check and that will take an additional 30 days. I told him that I paid 5 months ago that that was unacceptable and he said "Well bye then" and hung up the phone. Of course every time I tried to call back I was disconnected.

So after dealing with this for 5 months I have received 50% of my fully paid order, never received my "free" magazine for my troubles, and an alleged refund check coming in about a month. If computers are still around when I receive my refund check I will be sure to update this.

If you have a lot of time on your hands, money to waste and enjoy hideous customer service I highly recommend Mags4Cheap.
