Mags4cheap.com ripoff artists;fradulent actions; blame it on "trouble tickets" ;scam artists Internet

I received an email offer from this company about a year ago. They specialize in magazine subscriptions at lower prices than usual. The titles of the magazines they offer are all upscale, so I decided to give them a try.

The first subscription I bought from them did arrive, and the mailing label showed I would indeed get it for a year. So I fell for another, and another--then trouble started happening: some subscriptions, that I paid for a full year's worth of magazines, labels showed I would only get 6 months of; others never came at all.

There was no way to get my money back. When I contacted them directly, they would explain they had "made a mistake in their "trouble ticket," that they had posted on my account from my prior email; and indicated the problem would be cleared up within a week. Of course, weeks came and went, and nothing changed. Several magazine subscriptions, entirely paid for, never did arrive. I reported the company to the Better Business Bureau, who seemed to find them in Texas, and they never responded to the BBB complaint. So I felt I should warn others to beware of this company that has dishonest business practices.Fraudlent selling practices. Beware--if it looks too good to be true, it probably is.
